The dance studio is only doing four competitions this year. They have given the girls a number of dates that they can do optional solos. Mariah and Caeline were both excited to compete at Count Down. The negative part was that the competition was held in Apache Junction. We drove down there on Friday afternoon. Mariah performed her solo. We were able to go get some dinner and were back in time for the awards ceremony. Then we had the long drive home and didn't get there until after 11.
Saturday was a much needed day for errands and housework. On Sunday we headed back for Caeli's turn. She danced a little after noon and awards were shortly after that.
Caeli's friend Anna came down to watch. She is a sweetie and the girls had so much fun.
I love the director at the dance studio. Jenni is so nice to all the girls and make the classes fun.
When we were done we decided to go to lunch at Rainforest Cafe. Kianna had never been there and loved all the animals.
Lunch was delicious and we were back home by 5.
