Starpower

 Last weekend the girls competed at Starpower Dance competition. Conservatory of Dance only took group numbers from the lower divisions. Mariah and Caeli did not compete, but were able to bring their solos. We had to check in at 9:00 am. Luckily the school was close to the house. Caeli did a great job on her solo. Awards were at noon, just in time for Kianna;s check-in.

 The Minis looked adorable. When they finished the kids hung out together. Kianna and Bretlynn have become great friends and had so much fun. Awards were at 6:30.

 Many of the families from our group headed to Uncle Sam's for dinner. It was so funny, when we got there we had reserved two tables for 13 people. We put the kids at one table and the six adults at another. People kept showing up and we kept making room for them. There ended up being 11 kids at one table. We added another two tables for adults and everyone had so much fun.

 We looked over and Kianna was sitting at the table crying. We asked what was wrong and she said that she was hungry. Pam told her that we could order her more food and she sobbed that she never got any food. With that many children, no one noticed that her food was never delivered. Caeli told the waitress, "My sister needs food NOW!". They quickly fed her and she was happy again. 

Sunday was an easier day. Mariah did not check into the competition until four in the afternoon. She danced and did an amazing job. The awards were not long afterward and we were on our way home by 7.
