Our 15th Annual Santa Party

 Saturday evening was annual Santa party. We had our first party the year that Mariah was one and it has become a yearly event that we look forward to. The girl love to dress up and invite their friends.

 The girls are a big help. They arrange the food and set up the tables. We serve appetizers and desserts.

 The guests arrive and we visit and enjoy the food. This year there were 40 adults and 32 children. The kids all gather in the living room and are so excited when Santa walks in with his bag of gifts.

 Mariah had a pom competition in the afternoon. She stayed to perform her two numbers and left before awards. She got ready and arrived in time to see Santa.

Kianna was so excited to see Santa. He brought her a Lego Cruise ship that she has wanted for a long time.

 Mariah's boyfriend Robby joined us for our family picture.

It was a wonderful way to start the holiday season!

4th of July

 It was so HOT this month is Phoenix. We stayed inside most of the day.

 The girls made shirts and wore necklaces and earrings.

 We had a delicious BBQ for dinner and then headed for the waterpark.

 It was so crowded but the girls enjoyed the slides and wave pool.

 The fireworks were amazing. We all loved watching them. Then it took almost an hour to get out of the parking lot.

When we got home, the girls lit sparklers and went for a midnight swim!!

Recital 2013

 The recital this year was a little strange. We did not realize that the co-directors planned to open their own studio and were not working well with the students and parents.

 Each girl got to choose costumes to be photographed in.

 Mariah chose her three favorites.

Caeli has grown up so much this year.

L. A. Dance Magic

There was another dance convention and competition this weekend. We stayed at Fort McDowell and had so much fun. We checked in Friday afternoon and Caeli competed first.

  Then she did her trio to "New Soul". They looked beautiful.

 Later in the evening the Encore Trio performed. It was amazing and they got a Platinum!

 They were up early and classes started at 7:30 on Saturday. Kianna had breakfast and headed to the pool.

 Mariah came and visited at break. She loved the classes and said it was the best convention she had ever been to.

 The girls finished classes at 1:45 and dressed for comptition.

It was an amazing weekend!

Jump Dance Convention

 Last weekend was crazy! I took Friday off, but the girls went to school. We picked them up a little before noon and headed downtown. We checked into two beautiful rooms at the Hyatt. The girls got ready and we walked across the street to the convention center.

 Mariah's solo "Heartbreaker" was first. She looked amazing.

 The duos and trios were next Caeli does one to "New Soul" I love that song and dance.

 Mariah's trio is called "Call It Off". These girls are amazing. 

When they finished we went to dinner at Majerle's. We got back to the hotel and the girls got ready for the next day.

Classes started at 7 am the next morning. The girls were excited and enjoyed all the classes. Lori, Pam, Kianna and I went to breakfast and spent the morning at the pool.

 The girls had a lunch break and then afternoon classes. They ended at 2:45 and they quickly got ready for competition.

The last dance (at 11:00 at night) was with Encore, Teen and Pre-teen companies. It is called "In Pieces". the girls were exhausted when they got back to the hotel. 

Sunday they had classes from 8 - 3:30. We were all glad to get home!
