Caiti's Bridal Shower

On Saturday afternoon, Mariah, Caeli and Kianna gave a bridal shower for Caiti. She was so happy!

Mariah is going to be Caiti's maid-of-honor, Caeli is her bridesmaid and Kianna is the flower girl.

I have taken care of Caiti since she was a baby and adore her. I couldn't love her more if she was mine.

The girls gave her, her wedding bears and she was thrilled.

She got so many beautiful gifts.

The girls love her so much.

LA Dance Magic

 The dance studio attended a dance convention and competition at Fort McDowell.

We picked the girls up early from school. We drove out and checked into the hotel.Caeli had an early check-in so she started getting ready.

The encore dancers after awards. It was almost midnight by the time everyone got back to our rooms. The girls went to bed quickly.

Saturday morning, Mariah and Caeli checked in for 7:30 am classes. They had class until 2:45.

Encore eating. After classes ended, the girls quickly got into costumes and the competition started at 4:00 and ended at 10:00. The girls did well and Mariah's dance, Intergalatic was asked to be in the faculty show.

The girls had more classes on Sunday. Lori and I spent some time in the casino while Pam and Kianna hung out at the pool. It is so beautiful there. We watched the faculty show and headed home.

Easter 2012

On Saturday Vicki, Mariah, Brittany, Kevin, Lylie and friends came over to decorate Easter Eggs. The girls had so much fun coloring the eggs. After they went outside to check out the pool.

 It still felt cold to me, but it didn't stop the kids from getting in.

 Kianna was so unsure of the pool last year. I can't believe how fast she is adjusting. She loves to jump in and is swimming like a fish.

 Easter morning. Everyone looked so beautiful. We went over to Lori's house early. The girls were so good and posed for pictures.

 Then it was time for their egg hunt. Kianna is so in to it this year and she found the most. Mariah stayed at the house and waited for Brittany to pick her up so they could go see Titanic.

We went to Church and then stopped at the cemetery. The girls swam in the pool and we had a BBQ for dinner.

Mom

My mother passed away on March 12th. It would be unfair to say that it was a shock. She was 90 years old and had suffered from Alzheimer's for 15 years. In so many ways we lost her years ago.
Yet it was so hard to say good-bye. Her children all mourned her more than we expected and her granddaughters were sad and not sure what to do. Keith came for the week and it helped having him here.

I want to remember the sweet lady who loved to hug and kiss her granddaughter. I will miss you mom.

Stephanie & Peter's Wedding

February 24, 2012. The girls went and got their nails and hair done. We ate lunch quickly and headed to Windstar Gardens.

Stephanie was Mariah and Caeli's pre-school teacher and they fell in love with her. The friendship has continued over the years. Her son Vincent is a few weeks older than Kianna and they are the best of friends. Last August Stephanie asked all the girls to be in her wedding to Peter. Peter's sisters are the girls dance teachers.

The girls quickly got into their dresses and couldn't wait to see the bride.

They all looked so beautiful.
